How do you calculate Net Carbs?

What are Net Carbs?

Net carbs help you track carbohydrates that impact blood sugars. Dietary fiber, tagatose (sugar) and sugar alcohols should be subtracted from total carbohydrates, as they have a low glycemic response.

What is Allulose?

Allulose is a simple sugar found in certain fruits, including jackfruit, figs, and raisins, and is naturally present in small quantities in a variety of sweet foods like caramel sauce, maple syrup, and brown sugar. It’s absorbed by the body, but not metabolized so it’s nearly calorie-free.

The FDA’s new rules for labeling require that it be excluded from the total and added sugars, but that it be included for total calories and on the ingredient statement. This means subtracting it from total carbs to calculate net carbs. While we’re not allowed to change the way the fact panel reads, we’ll always tell you how much allulose we use when calculating our net carb counts for transparency.

Allulose is used in all of our granola.

What natural sweeteners do you use?

We use familiar ones like Monk Fruit and Stevia Leaf to provide the perfect solution that tastes and performs just like table sugar—without affecting blood sugar levels or adding excess carbs to your diet.


How do I track my order?

You’ll receive a shipment confirmation email once your item is in transit. Tracking codes can take 24 hours before they reflect activity.

How do you keep the bread fresh with shipping?

SOLA products are made fresh weekly at our best-in-class manufacturing facilities. We take great care to ensure your products arrive fresh. Our team of chefs and food scientists have developed the products to contain an appropriate amount of preservatives to ensure that they are both fresh and delicious as they make their way to our consumers.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping estimates vary according to your shipping address, day of the week and other factors. For the best estimate, proceed to checkout and enter your shipping address to view your available options.

Do you ship internationally?

No, we currently ship within the 50 states, excluding U.S. territories, and APO/FPO addresses.

My package is marked as undeliverable. What now?

Oh no! If your package is determined to be undeliverable, it will be returned to our warehouse. Please visit our contact us page and our customer care team will help you resolve your delivery issue.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

No. Shipping options vary according to your shipping address, day of the week and other factors. Proceed to checkout and enter your shipping address to view your available shipping options.


Where is my order confirmation?

If you have not received your order confirmation a few hours after your purchase, please contact our customer care team, and they can resend the confirmation email.

Can I cancel my order?

To cancel an order, please contact our customer care team as soon as possible. Because we promptly ship customer orders, we can’t guarantee that your order can be canceled. However, we will make every effort to cancel your order provided it hasn’t begun the shipping process.

Can I exchange an item?

We do not accept exchanges due to the perishable nature of our products.

I am missing my order.

Oh no, we are so sorry. If you are missing your order, please contact our customer care team and they will look into this for you. Just tell them your order number and date of purchase. If you are missing item(s) in your order. Please contact our customer care team with your order number and a list of the missing products. Please make sure to include the stamped initial/number on the outside of your box. We will get back to you asap!

How do I return my order?

We do not accept returns due to the perishable nature of our products.

Can you add the promo code to my order?

Unfortunately, we cannot retroactively apply a promo code. It is the responsibility of the customer to review orders for accuracy before completing a purchase. Promo codes are not retroactive and price adjustments will not be issued to orders placed prior to the start of any promotion.


Is SOLA the one selling the products on Amazon?

Yes, we’re the ones selling! We run fulfillment for our Amazon storefront.

I ordered from Amazon—how do I get in touch with you about the order?

Please reply to your order confirmation email from Amazon, or go to your order dashboard and use the contact seller button.


What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept PayPal and credit cards.

Can I use an international credit card?

No, but if you pay via PayPal, we accept that form of payment.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged at the time of the order.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer refunds if your order arrives in a defective state, or you never received your product per carrier tracking information.


If your order arrives in a defective state such as moldy, stale, or rancid, product (such as bread) is improperly packaged, product (contains chocolate) is melted. Please contact us within the first 7 days of receiving the product to be eligible for a refund. We will need your order number to initiate a report.


If you never received your product per carrier tracking information, contact us with your order number to initiate a report. Reports must be received within the first 7 days of the delivery date or expected delivery date. Carrier tracking information will be the sole determining method of the date of loss or arrival. Customer service may require more information by email or phone, before a refund can be approved.

How long does it take to process a refund?

It takes about 5-7 days for the refund to show up in your form of payment.


Are you located in the freezer or bread aisle?

We're available in both. Where we're located in the store varies depending on the store.

I got a defective product in-store, what can I do about it?

If purchased through a grocery store, you’re able to get your money back if you return it to the grocery store from where you originally bought the product.

If you are unable to do that, please contact our customer care team and they can make it right. Please note pictures of the products in a defective state must be presented.


What makes SOLA products low carb?

Our SOLA blend is composed of naturally occurring sweeteners such as erythritol, allulose, monk fruit and stevia leaf. Using this unique combination of low glycemic sweeteners, we have developed a variety of delicious chef-crafted food without all the carbohydrates.

Are SOLA products keto-friendly?

We certainly think so. However, it may depend on your personal keto diet plan you’re following in your day-to-day life. SOLA has a variety of exceptional products to help those transitioning from a high-carb diet to keto. The goal is to reduce glucose spikes and insulin release to maintain your keto goal.

SOLA products have been tested to ensure low or no glucose and insulin release. This is why we believe SOLA products are keto-friendly.

What SOLA products are gluten-free?

Our granola is the only product we make that is gluten-free.

Are your products vegan or plant-based?

Three of our bread flavors (Sweet Oat, Golden Wheat, and Deliciously Seeded) are vegan/plant-based products. All of our granola flavors are vegan as well.

The enzymes devired from our bread are vegetarian.

Are your products diabetic-friendly?

Yes! We have conducted third party, double-blind independent clinical studies on all SOLA products to ensure we are delivering a ‘better for you’ product that does not negatively impact blood glucose. Whether you are pre-diabetic, diabetic or simply in search of removing unwanted sugar and carbohydrates from your diet, our mission is to partner with you in your journey toward a healthier lifestyle.

Do your products contain nuts?

Our bread does not contain any peanuts. However, our bakery is not a nut-free certified facility so we caution the use of our bread for anyone with or in a household with peanut allergies.

Do your products contain dairy?

All of our products are dairy free with the exceptions of our line of Sweet and Buttery, Pizza, Jalapeno Cheddar, Honey Wheat Style, Rustic Wheat Style, and Buttermilk Waffles.

Do you still sell your sweetener?

Unfortunately, we have temporarily discontinued SOLA Sweetener. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience, but due to some global raw ingredient shortages, we have been unable to manufacture Sweetener. We hope we'll be able to relaunch sometime in the near future, but don't currently have a final timeline. Once we do have a date, we will be sure to announce it on our social media channels and to our email subscribers.
